Wells continues to enthrall the readers. The Time Machine has since been adapted into many feature films and television series, and has inspired many more works of fiction.

H.G. Wells was a professional writer and journalist who published more than a hundred books, including pioneering science fiction novels, histories, essays and programmes for world regeneration.
