Abram D. Swan

Abram Duswan, born January 8, 1942 in Amsterdam, is a Dutch sociologist and professor emeritus at the University of Amsterdam. In 2008, he won the P. C. Hooft Award for Literature. In 1996, he became a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and has many published research and studies in the field of international, European and linguistic studies.
